interviews

when you interview you need to make sure the people are facing the right way, just off of the camera. also you need to make sure that the subject of this interview is not obstructed or being interfered with by the background. also you need to make sure that the interviewee is the person talking most of the time.

you also need to make sure that the camera gets many angles and that there is good angles and backgrounds for the story

journalism basics

- there is not always two sides of a story. usually there is more.

- Don't lie.

- get the facts right. get multiple sources for an article, you never know when someone might not be telling the truth or have their facts wrong.

-don't accept gifts. its hard enough to stay unbiased but when you take gifts either people will think you are being bribed or you may become biased.

- never accept the official line. journalists are the protectors of the people, and are charged with the task of questioning everything. especially what someone in high power says.
